A now classic design of paternoster boom which is tough and streamlined. Very popular from the beach where they can be particuarly effective for whiting and flatties. Also good for making light boat paternoster rigs for whiting, bream etc.

The Avis boom is simple to used. Just slide it onto the rig body and fasten in place by placing a stop wither side of the boom. You can either use fixed stops or moveable stops which allow you to alter the possition of the booms on the trace.

As the Avis boom is free to rotate on the trace it resists tangles and always lies correectly in the tide
