A Dakota Lithium 12V 10A Charger is LiFePO4 compatible and perfectly sized for charging Dakota Lithium (DL) batteries over 40 Amp hours and up to 200Ah. You should use a LiFePO4-compatible charger like this to power all 12 volt Dakota Lithium batteries. While a 12v charger for a traditional lead acid battery could work on a DL battery, using it continually will decrease the performance and lifespan of the battery.

The battery amp-hour rating of this Dakota 10a LiFePO4 charger is ten amps per hour, so a 54 amp-hour battery requires a 5.4-hour charge time. A red light on the charger will turn on when charging, and the light turns green when the battery reaches a full charge.
