The Wal-Fly series allows streamer flies to be fished on a spinning or casting rod! This unique Walleye fly is crafted with the finest hair and streamer materials to match baitfish patterns. The Wal-Fly is meant to be fished individually or as a multi-lure rig using up to three Wal-Flies, depending upon your state regulations. To rig a two-fly set-up, tie two short drop lines and a third, longer dropper onto a 3-way swivel affixed to a 12 lb. braided mainline. Tie a 3/4-to-3 oz. sinker on the long line meant to place the weight in contact with the river bottom. Add single swivels to the other dropper lines, then further attach lines to those two swivels (one at 48 inches long using 10 lb. fluorocarbon and the other on a line half that length). Tie on your Kalin’s Wal-Flies, cast, and retrieve! Additionally, river walleye anglers can fish this rig on your boat’s trolling set-up.
