Thanks to its full solid construction with no hollow core, it is both strong and supple. Typically, carbon solid rods of this thickness are often spliced near the butt section, but the Rapier is designed without any joints from the tip to the rear grip end. This results in significantly improved transmission performance and breakage strength.
